It's been awhile...
...since last sharing our adventures.
We've been a little busy; in fact, pretty sure whoever said 2014 is the year of open doors was totally spot on.
Where We've Been
The big February road trip was with one of my dearest girlfriends from college, Nina. We stayed (and played) at the Ace, but stole a little extra time out of the weekend trip to take part in Modernsim Week activities. I wrote a piece for Lady Holiday about our girlfriend's weekend in Palm Springs here, if you're interested. If you're not familiar with Modernism Week, there's more about this event on Cliff May SoCal.
For March we'll be headed out to Ojai, Calif. for some high-end camping and more dog parties at Dennison Park. Cannot wait.
Who We've Been Working With
We've had plenty of new (and lovely) clients, but some of our most exciting projects have been nonprofit ventures. A recent collab with Wild at Heart, California, has transformed into a new project we call Workshops for a Reason. Our first session will be at Saltfineart, and all proceeds will benefit UP, bringing yoga and mindfulness to teens.
It's been overwhelming all the support we've received for this relatively small event (at least compared to September's exciting bash at the Segerstrom Center–more to come on that soon!).
We'd love to also share our latest art obsessions: Sarah Awad and Chris Hitchcock (CXYXTE). We are so excited for their upcoming profiles in OC Art Blog.
What We've Been Obsessing Over
Just for fun, a few of our favorite things this month...
Mac Demarco. (Thanks, Drew.)
Daring Greatly, Brene Brown's most recent book.
Delicious crackers to eat at every meal.
A mask to make you feel instantly prettier.
Wouldn't it be amazing to camp here?
